Matthew Armstrong

Matthew Armstrong met Shelly at Wartburg College and they have been married since 1999. Matthew earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree at Wartburg in 1998 and Master of Music Education degree at VanderCook College of Music in 2005. He is a choral director at Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School. Matthew also enjoys arranging for The Marshalls, especially in collaboration with Shelly. He has performed in a number of small ensembles over the years from Barbershop to Doo-wop, but Southern Gospel music is what really speaks to him.
